Ezewuzie, others laud Osodieme’s new lifeline for physically challenged people


MORE commendations are pouring in for the recent lifeline provided by Wife of Anambra State Governor and Founder of Caring Family Enhancement (CAFÉ) initiative, Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano for people living with disabilities through donation of free prosthetic limbs to amputees.

Commending the donation, Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Disability Matters, Chuks Ezewuzie described Mrs. Obiano, who is fondly known as Osodieme among ndi Anambra, as a compassionate mother with boundless, matchless love for the vulnerable people in society.

He also likened Mrs. Obiano’s generosity and love for the downtrodden in society to that of Mother Theresa, lauding her for consistently providing prosthetic limbs for amputees in Anambra State for over six years without any discrimination.

According to him, Osodieme has once again demonstrated that she has special love for persons with disability in Anambra State, just as Gov. Willie Obiano, by restoring joy and hope for amputees who have lost their limbs through accidents and sicknesses.

Therefore, Ezewuzie challenged the beneficiaries to continue supporting to the Obiano administration by making effective use of the gadgets.

Similarly, Anambra State Chairman of Joint National Association of Persons with Disability, Ugochukwu Okeke thanked Mrs. Obiano for her magnanimity to the amputees, describing it as a way of renewing the beneficiaries’ and life self-confidence.

He prayed God to continue blessing Osodieme and Gov. Obiano.
