THE news of the deaths of Dr Ben Okigbo, a medical doctor in Houston and his wife, Theresa, who was a nurse, are most shocking and depressing.
According to a press statement signed by Head, Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) ,Abuja, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) condoles with the family, particularly the children, who are now orphans, as well as members of the Nigerian diaspora community in the US.
Dr. Ben Okigbo and his wife, Theresa, were found dead recently in their Sugar Land, Texas home , according to police.
NIDCOM commiserates with the Okigbo family and pray unto God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
NIDCOM, however, will continue to monitor police investigations into the unfortunate incident, the statement said.
