Chelsea vs Sheffield United match preview

AFTER clinching 3-0 win at Burnley, marking 4 consecutive clean sheets in competitions Chelsea will hope to continue their top form and regain their spot in top four when they host Sheffield United at their Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been scoring goals for fun in all competitions of late, with summer signings starting to pay off.

Timo Werner looks impressive in front of goal, and seeing that fit-again Hakim Ziyech seems to be helping the team improve their game, it is no wonder Frank Lampard’s troops are seen as hot favourites to win Saturday’s football match.

The Blades, on the other hand, suffered back-to-back defeats to the likes of Liverpool and Man City in the previous two league fixtures, with the team remaining in the bottom three. Even though pacey winger Christian Pulisic is unlikely to recover in time to face Sheffield United, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match.

Sheffield United has experienced a big dip in form from last season. They have failed to win any in seven premier league games this season. (D1 L6). They look on the course to suffer yet another defeat in the hands of an in-form Chelsea side. Though Chelsea has this tendency of allowing team who are out of form to use them as a stepping stone to form.
