Entrepreneurial devp training for SMEs ends in Enugu



THE Entrepreneurial Development Training for Small Scale Entrepreneurs (SMEs) who applied for the NIRSAL/CBN AGSME’s loan organised by the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) has ended in Enugu.

  The four-day programme which ran from August 10-14  centred on these important topics, ‘Business Diagnosis, Financial Strategies and Management, How to prepare Bankable Business Plan and Rules and Regulations For Private Enterprise’.  Resource persons and experts in different aspects of business and enterprises brainstormed with the applicants on the best way to manage the loans when they eventually get them.

   Speaking with our correspondent after the training, Director General of ECCIMA, Henry Nduka Awuregu who thanked both the CBN and NIRSAL for the privilege given to the chamber to participate in the national economic development programme, stressing that with such programme in place, the country’s economic frontiers will be enlarged for the betterment of the citizenry.

  Awuregu described the training as a huge success and commended the resource persons for imparting wonderful knowledge on the participants,” I owe a load of gratitude to our participants, resource persons and all the stakeholders during the training for their awesome contributions which made the event a huge success

  “My gratitude also goes to CBN and NIRSAL for this wonderful opportunity given to us to be part of this national assignment”. Awuregu posited.

   He stated that with the successful conclusion of the training, both the participants and ECCIMA are ready for the next stage of the process.
