ANGLICAN Bishop, Diocese of Nnewi, Rt. Rev. Ndubisi Obi has stated that he is gradually tackling the prime objectives of the diocese.
To this end, he said that St Mary’ s Cathedral Main Gate Road, which terminated at Emeka Offor Junction has been closed with immediate construction of a sound motorable direction as well as connection to Nkwo to Nkwo. Nnewi to Oraifite Main Road .
He said that the Diocesan Farm Complex, poultry department, piggery, fisheries ,crops and seedlings have been yielding dividends for their Ozubulu Farm Complex and the one at Ihite Okija.
He said that work was nearing completion on the renovation at St Mary Cathedral with expanded solid walls construction, adding that the projects were awarded to an indigene construction company, Suntuch.
The bishop has since his inauguration, visited all the parishes and stations on pastoral ecumenism nwith added positive evangelical outreaches and conferences for priests to rob minds.
Sir Humphrey Nsofor, who is the chairman of the project in the St Mary’s Cathedral said that the project had been the beauty of the cathedral environment and most befitting.
He said Bishop Obi closed the thoroughfare gate at St Mary’s Cathedral by constructing a diversion that connects Emeka Offor Junction and Chief Sir Gabriel Onwugbenu Avenue and has within one year of his inauguration as Anglican Bishop, Diocese of Nnewi, done many projects.
