Trump defends Nigerian doctor on claims of finding COVID-19 cure

UNITED States President, Donald Trump has  stood in support of Nigerian medical expert, Doctor Stella Immanuel who said she cured patients of coronaviru.

  The president defended Doctor Immanuel when answering questions from CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, CNN reports

  According to Trump, “ Doctor Immanuel’s voice is an important voice”.

  The Nigerian-trained doctor came under criticism when she said she used hydroxychloroquine to cure coronavirus.

  “I don’t know which country she comes from, but she said that she’s had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients.

  “And I thought her voice was an important voice, but I know nothing about her.”

  Immanuel who prides herself on social media as a “physician, author, speaker, entrepreneur, deliverance minister, God’s battle axe and weapon of war” and of the Rehoboth Medical Center, Houston, TX shook the social media world with the claim that hydroxychloroquine cures COVID-19.

  Different reactions had since trailed her claims since the video broke out.
