Man Utd table official bid for Angers starlet Rayan Ait-Nouri

The two Manchester clubs are in transfer talks with Angers starlet  Rayan Ait-Nouri, who is one of the hottest prospects in France

Manchester United are reportedly negotiating  with young left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri with the United tabling  a formal offer to French side Angers.

Ait-Nouri is rated high in French football and has already represented france at Under-21 level.

Rayan Ait-Nouri has also been reportedly linked with Manchester City and, according to French Outlet  FootMercato, United have the upper hand as they are in constant contact with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

Apparently both have submitted offers to both his agent and Angers according to various reports.

Reports have it that Ait-Nouri flew to England few days ago and has visited the training grounds of both clubs.

A decision is imminent  in the coming weeks and Angers are resigned to losing their asset as  boss Stephane Moulin conceded in an interview with RMC Sport that Ait-Nouri could be sold.

“It’s not sure but there are chances that he will leave so we have to anticipate,” he said. “We decided that if Rayan had to leave we had his successor with Souleyman Doumbia.

“For Rayan, I have rarely seen such a talented boy, he is far ahead. He is very well balanced and I think he should end up in a big club.”

Ait-Nouri has three years left on his current contract with Angers.  The club president Sebastien Larcier has also confirmed the rumuors while speaking with France publication Ouest France :

“We know that Rayan has huge interest [from other clubs].

“We know that he has an agent [Mendes] who carries a lot of weight in football and who sends us messages indicating that it is an inevitable transfer.

“But there has not yet been any concrete offer. Noises and rumours will have to become actions.”
