325 Nigerians evacuated from Turkey, return, quarantined – Onyeama
The federal government said it has evacuated 238 stranded Nigerians and an infant from Turkey.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, disclosed this yesterday when he tweeted through his verified Twitter handle.
Onyeama twitte: “Turkish Airlines conveying 238 Nigerian evacuees and an infant from #Cyprus, has departed for Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
“All Evacuees tested Negative to #COVID19 and will now proceed on 14 days self-isolation as mandated PTF on #COVID-19.” The Covid-19 Presidential Task Force (PTF) had assured that the new protocol for evacuation would bring in so many nationals in a matter of weeks.
