Nigerian Instagram celebrity Hushpuppi’s arrest by Interpol in Dubai

Nigerians have continued to react over Instagram big boy Hushpuppi’s lifestyle and alleged arrest by Interpol in Dubai.

  Recently, it was reported that the big money spender was arrested in Dubai, alongside one Mr Woodbery by Interpol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Dubai, where he resides.

  The Nigerian billionaire’s arrest was allegedly based on account of money laundering after he was linked to some cases of fraud.

According to sources, Interpol arrested Hushpuppi for Covid-19 a ventilator procurement scheme worth $35million fraud which was purported to be given to Native Americans during the Corona Virus Pandemic.

  Meanwhile, on Hushpuppi’s Instagram bio is a description of him as a real estate agent.

  But, socialite Hushpuppi did not seem to be convinced by these pledges and alleged donations from various rich sources and he took to social media to question them. According to the socialite, people should check who these billionaires donated their funds to because the orphanages and hospitals in Nigeria are still lacking greatly. Hushpuppi went ahead to describe the alleged donations as audio billions for clout.

  Since his arrest was disclosed, the social media have been awash with comments on Hushpuppi’s sudden explosion of wealth with Nigerians lashing out at the big boy for his penchant for always flaunting wealth on his social media page.
