New COVID-19 case in Anambra

 ANOTHER person tested positive of COVID-19 in Anambra State yesterday as Nigeria recorded 184 new cases of the global pandemic.

  This brings the country’s total confirmed cases to 4,971.

  Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed the new figures in a tweet late yesterday.

  According to the post, out of the new infections, 51 were found in Lagos, 23 in Jigawa, 16 in Bauchi, 14 in Kano, 10 in the FCT, and 10 in Rivers.

  NCDC further stated that Kwara State recorded nine new cases, Delta and Kaduna each had five new cases, Sokoto and Oyo had four cases while Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun States each reported three new cases.

  Ondo recorded two new cases while Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Plateau and Niger States joined Anambra to report one case each.
