Ekiti appoints illustrious father, Adeoye COVID-19 envoy

EKITI State governor, Kayode Fayemi has offered a special appointment to Femi Adeoye, the man who trended on social media on Wednesday in a video in which he rebuked and rejected his adult son for dis obeying the COIVID-19 lock down and travelled from Lagos to Ekiti State. The story was retorted in National Light newspaper on Wednesday.

  In the short video , Mr Adeoye vehemently refused his son entry to his home because, against his (Mr Adeoye’s) advice, he left Lagos State with high number of Covid-19 cases who travelled through Ogun State ( another COVID-19 endemic state) and headed for Ado Ekiti in a two-day –long journey.

Mr Adeoye, a retired Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) cop was appointed COVID-19 Responds Ambassador in a letter issued to him by Ekiti State Government. He was also made a member of the state’s task force on COVID-19.
