A SURVIVOR of COVID-19, Manny Okwudili Asika, has called on people to observe all preventive measures recommended by the state government in its effort to contain the virus from further spreading.
Asika made the call yesterday while speaking to newsmen in Onitsha.
According to him, testing positive for coronavirus is not a death sentence because over 80 percent of victims have chances of survival.
But he noted that reporting early to health authorities plays key role in successful management of COVID-19 cases.
Narrating how he spent 10 days at the treatment centre in Lagos, Asika said he had for long rejoined his family.
He expressed delight with the efforts and resources being committed into the fight against the pandemic in Anambra State by Gov. Willie Obiano.
