Identities of Nigerians who died of COVID-19 abroad, revealed

IDENTITIES of 13 Nigerians who died of coronavirus (COVID-19) has been revealed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) in a video.

  The 55-second clip was shared by the commission on Thursday via its Twitter handle.

  Among them are eight males and five females, including a medical doctor, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and a clergyman among others.

  A breakdown of the figure shows that eight persons died in the UK while five others died in the US.They are: Dr. Alfa Sa’adu – United Kingdom, Carol Jamabo – United Kingdom, Dr. Mole Abayomi (SAN) – United Kingdom, Adeola Onasanya – United Kingdom, Ugochukwu Erondu – United Kingdom, Chidimma Olajide – United Kingdom, Basset Offiong – United States of America, Apostle Caleb Anya – United States of America, Mrs. Mmaete Greg – United Kingdom, Akeem Adagun – United States of America, Hajia Laila Abubakar – United States of America and Mrs. Patricia Imobhio – United States of America.

  Chairman of NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, also shared the video on a verified Twitter handle.
