Legislators applaud Obiano’s achievements

ANAMBRA State House of Assembly has commended Governor Willie Obiano for his enduring achievements so far in office, vowing firmly to sustain the prevailing cordial relationship better the executive and judicial arms of the state government in moving the state forward.

  Making this known, the Deputy Speaker, Pascal Agbodike, who presided over the plenary last Thursday, read a special goodwill message to felicitate with Governor Obiano in commemoration of the second anniversary of his second term in office.

  Dr. Agbodike declared satisfaction of the house with the governor’s performance since mounting the saddle and asserted that the governor had recorded great achievements in all sectors of the state’s economy, including mechanised agriculture, industrialisation, trade and commerce, oil and gas as well as economic empowerment of women and youths.

  The legislator also commended the governor’s grassroots’ development thrusts through the unprecedented revolving N20 million ‘Community Choose Your Project’ initiatives which had immensely improved the welfare of the populace, crowned with security of lives and property of the citizenry.

  “In view of Governor Willie Obiano’s accomplishments, he is qualified in all ramifications to be described as a great achiever and prudent manager of the state’s resources,” Dr. Agbodike stressed, adding that, “I want to say categorically that Governor Obiano has brought massive developments in all the communities in the state.”

  He emphasised that the present administration also made giant and indelible marks in education, healthcare delivery services, infrastructural facilities and entrenched tight security structure which had ensured maximum safety of lives and property that elevated Anambra as the safest and first choice of investors in the country.

 Agbodike reassured that the house would continue to work harmoniously with the Executive and Judiciary to ensure the successful implementation of Governor Obiano’s lofty dividends of democracy for the betterment of ndi Anambra within the next two years before the expiration of his tenure.
