ARSENAL striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the club when the transfer market reopens with interest from Barcelona, Manchester United and PSG.
The Gunners striker’s high rate of conversion 61 goals in 96 outings is the reason top guns are in for his signature also the reason Arsenal wants to keep him tied down to the club.
The Spanish side has been in the market for a replacement for Suarez and has though signed Denmark striker, Martin Braithwaite from fellow La Liga side, Leganes for 18 million euros, they are still in to bring a more prolific striker to Camp Nou.
Arsenal seem to be wanting to cash in on their striker who would be available to leave for nothing next summer.
The Spanish side now has eyes on Inter Milan’s striker, Lautaro Matinez who’s form for Inter has been glittering, the Argentine, who plays alongside Romelu Lukaku at the San Siro, has scored 16 times this term including one against the Spanish giants in the Champions League.
The 30-year-old is yet to commit his future to the North London outfit despite insisting he is happy at the club. Aubameyang joined from Borussia Dortmund for £56m back in January 2018 and has regularly proved to be a match winner.
Arsenal chiefs Raul Sanllehi and Edu are determined to keep the striker but have stressed they will not allow him to leave on a free.
Aubameyang said earlier this year: “I try to always be ready, whatever happens. I am a guy who tries to be always ready.”
I love the fans here and when I was younger, I used to watch Arsenal because they had always great players, and yeah they won trophies as well so, I think it’s really a pleasure to be here, I’m really happy. I think that’s the feeling.”
