IT WAS indeed a day of jubilation and fanfare as the family of Chibuike Nwugo of Ubuluisiuzo in Ihiala local council of Anambra State welcomed a set of triplets delivered recently at the Divine Care Hospital, Nnewi.
Elated father of the newly born babies, Mr. Chibuike Magnus Nwugo described the trio’s birth as a miracle and his joy n their arrival as indescribable, adding that the birth of the babies has made his joy complete.
“My heart is full of joy. Before now, I had three girls, and with this development, I now have five girls and a bouncing baby boy. This alone is enough for me to thank God.”
Nwugo further extolled his lovely wife and mother of the triplets, Mrs. Ifeoma Nwugo for her strength in the course of giving birthing the babies. He enjoined those still looking for the fruit of the womb not to give up on God adding that at the fullness of time, God will visit them also. He further disclosed that their dedication will take place in no distant time at St Louis Catholic Church, Otolo, Nnewi.
On her part, mother of the triplets, Mrs. Nwugo, thanked God first for safe delivery, and for counting her worthy to receive such blessing, notwithstanding, in her words, “her nothingness.” She prayed that “God in His infinite mercy will remember those still expecting to give birth to babies.”
The babies delivered on August 10, have been named thusly: Olisa Ifechukwu Miracle Ubanwaugo and his sisters Onyinyechukwu God’sGift Ubanwaugo and Somtochukwu Ubanwaugo.
Grandmother of the triplets, Mrs Anna Nwugo, a widow and founding All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ubuluisiuzo, described the arrival of the children as an event that has left dancing the news was broken to her.
