Bishop Okoye visits St Clement, Ufuma

Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye, recently paid a  Pastoral visit to  St. Clement’s Parish Ufuma, Orumba North LGA.
Speaking during the Holy Mass, Bishop Okoye commended the parish priest for his effort  in handling administration of the Parish, especially, the roofing of the new church.
He  thanked St. Clement’s Parish for their uncommon efforts and cooperation which they used to set-up a building which looks like basilica.  He urged them to sustain unity, cooperate and work hard to ensure harmony and advised parents  to be strong in faith so that their  children will follow and emulate them.
The bishop , who administered the sacrament of confirmation, urged those who were confirmed to prepare themselves both physically and spiritually  to become soldiers of Christ, conquering battles and living by examples and leading others to heaven too.
The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Patrick Chimezie Okeke, in appreciation  and joy thanked the bishop for being with them.ment’s . He thanked the clergy and all present for their support.
The Vice Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Council thanked God with joy for granting them clement weather and thanked Bishop Jonas Benson for the canonical visit .
