A PHILANTHROPIST, Nze Moses Doglas Ezemba, in collaboration with ASA World Wide Association Head Quarters in Toronto, Canada, has organised a day-free medicare.
The event, featured different types of tests, distribution of eye glasses, distribution of drugs among others.
Speaking at the event, the General Secretary of the ASA World Wide Association, Dr Chidi Asidianya applauded the Ora Eri indegenes for their mass turn out to the programme and solicited maximum co -operation from all and sundry to ensure success of the programme.
He disclosed that their members were drawn from 27 Countries of the world for the free medical mission in Ora Eri Town and few other selected towns.
He also hinted that the programme is held annually at the selected towns that are willing, “Then indegenes of the town will invite us. We deploy doctors and nurses, wheel chairs and each person would pay for his or her flight to and fro.
Dr Asidianya said that “we regard it as sacrifice and response to clarion call of the Anambra State Government for think home philosophy to privileged indigenes of the state resident in the state, other parts of the country or Diaspora to come home and invest to contribute our quote towards improvement of the state.
He noted that number one social determinant of wealth is good health, stressing that a healthy nation is a wealthy nationa.
He assured that “no matter how your illness effects you, we have a Doctor or Nurse for you here because we came with different doctors and nurses. Dr Asidianya commended their member, Chief Host and sponsor ,Mr Doglas Ezemba for his untiring efforts and urged him not to relent.
In his remarks, Nze Moses Doglas Eze Mba, “Eze nwanonobi” expressed gratitude to the members of the ASA World Wide Association medical Team for their cooperation.
He emphasized that he was motivated to invest in Health Care programmes to alliviate the burdens of the people and save lives first before any other thing and assured that the programme will be an annual event in Ora Eri in future and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious’ use of the rare opportunity to improve their health condition.
Nze Moses Doglas Ezemba disclosed that he had previously sponsored the programme from 2017 and reaffirmed his preparedness to ensure that people’s hope will be restored through this and other programmes yet to come. He attributed his success to God’s intervention and maximum co-operation from all and which made the programme very successful indeed and prayed God to replenish everybody unmanly.
In her remark, Ifeoma Odimegwu Mrs, Rtd RN (Registered Nurse) said: many people have hypertention, glaucomma, high level of sugar. We advised them to go to other hospitals where the physician can continue to treat them and guide them on how to know when they are in critical or emergency condition”
