Vinicius ready to step down for Hazard
REAL Madrid wonder kid, Vinicius Junior talked to O Globo and discussed his first season in the club and also his expectations for next year.
“When I got here I was a different player from the one I am today. I learned so much from the coaching staff and from every single manager. Tactically I improved a lot as well and now I am turning the ball over less often and I am more poised when I have the ball,” explains Vinicius —quite accurately—.
“I’m still working to improve my finishing as well. At the end of every training session, Zidane works with me on my finishing a bit and the rest of the teammates do too,” he added.
“Benzema helped me a lot. He gave me advise from the very beginning and he did everything he could to help me. I remember when we played against Atletico I missed a good chance and then we conceded. He then talked to me because he saw I was nervous and he told me to lead the offensive line and stay forward for five minutes so that I could get a breather and be composed again,” reveals Vinicius.
The Brazilian wonder kid knows that it will be tougher for him to get relevant minutes now that Hazard has signed for Madrid.
“With his arrival it’s true that it will be harder for me to play but it’s not a problem for me. It will be up to Zidane,” concluded Vinicius
