Bishop Ezeofor celebrates Silver jubilee of priestly ordination

IT WAS a thing of joy for  Bishop of Cathedral Church of Aguata Anglican Diocese Rt. Rev. Chukwudi Ezeofor, as he marked his 25 years of priesthood at Saint John’s Anglican Church, Ekwulobia. 
Delivering a sermon to mark the celebration, with the theme, “A True  Christian  Servant  Leader”, The Cathedral Administrator, Chijioke Nwankwo, described Ezeofor as  a true Christian leader , who listens and gives wise counsel, a builder of both human and infrastructure who always go extra miles in lifting others high.
He said that a true leader is somebody that builds people, does not fight for position, rather  sees it as call to service, noting that a servant leader does not fear challenges in life. He use the opportunity to caution people against fighting for positions, reminding them that God  has destined one to occupy a certain position in life.
He  stresseded on the need for federal government to desist from using Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC)  to fight Political opponents so as to achieve desired objectives and charged leaders to always bear in mind that they exists authority they should respect, advising against imposing responsibility on their followers.
Nwankwo described Ezeofor as a humble and courageous leader and prayed for God’s guidance  in his ministerial work.
In his speech, Bishop Samuel Chukwudi Ezeofor ,thanked God for preserving his life and his family within the period ,despite the huddles,  saying that there has been good and bad that had  happend , but God was with them. He thanked the participants for  joining in the celebration, praying for good health upon them and their entire families.
In her message, the wife of bishop, Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor said it is a thing of joy and privilege for God to call somebody into the service of God, noting that it is an honour to her. She thanked God for his faithfulness  upon their family.
Archdeacon of Amaiyi ,Aguata Diocese Ven. Ifeanyi Ogbueli encouraged Ezeofor to continue with the good work in the veinyard of God , in preaching the gospel to the people, and prayed for the strength of the lord upon him.
in his contribution, Ven Okechukwu Emeribe said, Bishop Ezeofor had been anchoring his trust in God, which has been the secret of good things in his life and advised him to continue his trust in God.
