Former Abagana PG lauds Obiano’s devp efforts



A LEGAL luminary and former President General of Abagana , Njikoka LGA, Anambra State, Ephraim Ilonze has expressed delight over Governor Obiano’s ability to sustain peace, unity and oneness, among other development efforts in the State.
Prince Ilonze identified building a benefiting office for presidents general at Awka, construction of flyovers, agricultural development, provision of adequate security network, youth empowerment and combating erosion in communities, including  Abagana as some of the major achievements of the governor and  prayed to Almighty God to give him wisdom and strength to continue his good works.
Ilonze who is also the former National legal adviser of presidents general in the State, made the remarks in Abagana during a seminar he organised for unemployed youths in his community, he said that his Administration was the first to organize such a seminar as they encourage the youths to live exemplary lives and  to look for any available job no matter their academic backgrounds.
He maintained that his administration provided over 100 job opportunities to unemployed youths, adding that there is a cordial relationship between him and the traditional ruler of the town, saying that the duty of the traditional ruler has a constitutional guideline in the constitution as they are the chief security officers of their towns, while the duties of the Presidents General is for the development of their towns.
Ilonze said that there was need for them to work together for the progress of their towns and appealed to presidents-general to always be submissive to their traditional rulers, while the traditional rulers should respect themselves as respect is reciprocal.
He advised parents to be more responsive to the upbringing of their children as the Holy Bible said that parents should train their children when they are youths
