I don’t work miracles – Ronaldo

CRISTIANO Ronaldo won’t be picking up a sixth Champions League trophy this season after Ajax’s 2-1 win in Turin on Tuesday night.
The Portuguese did bag his 126th goal of the competition to give the hosts the lead but Donny van Beek levelled just six minutes later before Matthijs de Ligt’s winner in the second half.
Ronaldo was clearly devastated at full-time as he headed straight for the tunnel and his mother, Dolores Aveiro admits the 34-year-old was gutted.
“He was sad, he wanted to go to the final,” said Maria Dolores Aveiro as quoted by Portuguese newspaper, A Bola. “He will try for the next one.“What did he say to me? ‘Mum, I don’t work miracles…’”
