THE Secretary General, World Sabbath Jewish Organisation, Nigeria and Overseas, Kenechukwu Ugwaegbunam has expressed gratitude to Almighty Yahweh for the feast of Passover which he described as veritable instrument for fostering blessing, peace and unity to Sabbatarians, ndi Anambra and Nigeria at large.
Ugwaegbunam made the remark during a special sermon at the feast where he was honoured with Doctorate Degree from World Sabbath Jewish Organisation, Abuja, by Rex-Smart, overseer of the organization in Nigeria and overseas.
Ugwaegunam called on Sabbatarians to work according to the doctrine of the Holy Bible and keep all the Holy Feasts of Yahweh.
He appealed to federal government to rehabilitate the Oji-River power station as that was the most gainful thing to ndi Igbo.
He commended Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, whom he described as a man who is sensitive and responsive to public outcries for good governance, adding that his agricultural programme, is commendable as food is life. He urged the church leaders to pray fervently for the success of the state.
The Chief Priest of God’s Miracle Sabbath Mission, Eziude synagogue, Umudunu, Abagana, called on parents to check the activities of their children, even as he commended the current management of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, publisher of National Light group of newspapers for various improvements in the corporation, particularly for giving the paper a national outlook.
