CONGOLESE born international music star, Antoine Christophe Mumba, who goes by the stage name, Koffi Olomide, has been sentenced to a two year jail term in absentia by a court ruling in France. The sentence came for an alleged raping of a 15 year old girl.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay a fine of $5,700 for illegally bringing three women into the country.
Earlier before this ruling, the ‘Soukus’ master had previously been arraigned for sex abuse charges especially on his female dancers between the periods of 2002 and 2007. Meanwhile, the accused lawyer hailed the court’s ruling, calling it a victory saying it would result in further withdrawal of his international arrest warrant.
This is another case of sex abuse ruling by a court of law following the recent ruling on RnB singer, Robert Kelly.
