We’re committed to building strategic roads – Obiano



GOVERNOR Willie Obiano has assured ndi Anambra of his administration’s commitment to building strategic roads.
Making this known while inspecting asphalting work on the Ogboji-Onneh-Achina-Peter University Road,  the governor who expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the road, said that his administration is more concerned in building strategic roads which will serve as great benefit to the people of the state.
He however assured that, the road will be completed before the next five Weeks with all the road infrastructures therein.
In his remarks, the Commissioner for Works, Marcel Ifejiofor informed that the 4.2Km road is over 80% completed.
The Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Jonas Benson Okoye took time to thank the governor for his magnanimity for the people of Ogboji, Onneh and the rest of the communities that would benefit from the road project.
Accompanying the governor were; Marcel Ifejiofor ,Commissioner for Works, Arch Michael M. Okonkwo, Commissioner for Environment, the Chief of Staff, Mr. Primus Odili and all the APGA candidates from  Anambra South Zone.
