Obiano assures of completion of Jerome Udoji Road project



ANAMBRA State Government has assured that it will complete the ongoing Jerome Udoji Road project, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area before the rainy season.
Governor Willie Obiano gave the assurance while inspecting work on the 3.5 kilometer road.
The road passes through the popular Ozudaa Market, Eziora and Egbema villages as well as links Onitsha- Owerri Road and Atani in Ogbaru Local Government Area.
Governor Obiano expressed happiness that a section of the road had been asphalted, stressing that the contractor had been mobilized to ensure its completion.
He urged the people of the area to support his administration in its bid to offer more dividends of democracy to them.
The State Commissioner for Works, Mr. Marcel Ifejiofor noted that the contractor would ensure the delivery of quality job as scheduled.
On his part, the contractor handling the job, Mr. Adolph Izuegbu assured that the road would be completed in three months as against the original one year contract term.
