Umunnachi declares support for Umeh

UMUNNACHI community in Dunukofia Local Government Area hosted the senator representing the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Chief Victor Umeh.
The colourful ceremony which was held at the Central School, Umunnachi attracted personalities such as the state deputy governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke, the APGA state woman leader, Lady Chinyere Ibenta, the coordinator of Senator Victor Umeh campaign organization in Dunukofia L.G.A. and Umunnachi, Dr. Cyprian Afunugo, an APGA stalwart from Agulu and a member of the Senator Victor Umeh support group, Chief Dan Ogbuefi, among other distinguished sons and daughters of the state.
In a speech, Victor Umeh appreciated the kind sentiments of the people of Umunnachi in their previous support and asked for such overwhelming support in the February 16 senatorial election.
Senator Umeh canvassed for the support of other APGA candidates such as Dozie Nwankwo for the Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency and Lawrence Ezeudu representing Dunukofia constituency in the state House of Assembly.
He pledged to sustain his quality representation to his constituents and to speak for ndigbo at the senate.
Speaking during the occasion, the coordinator of Senator Umeh  campaign organization in Dunukofia L.G.A. Afunugo expressed delight in the quality representation of Senator Umeh and expects the people of Umunnachi to vote for Senator Umeh, Chief Dozie Nwankwo, and Chief Ezeudu in the forth coming elections.
Dr. Afunugo presented some gift items to senator Umeh, deputy governor Dr. Okeke, Chief Ogbuefi, among others for their contributions to APGA, the state and for the Igbo race.
On his part, the councilor representing Umunnachi ward 2,  Chike Enedo urged the people of Umunnachi to vote for Senator Umeh, Dr. Nwankwo and Chief Ezeudu in the forth coming  elections.                    Enedo said he sensitized  the electorate in Umunnachi towards the collection of their PVCs and expects them to make use of them at the February 16 and march 2  elections.
The state woman leader of APGA, Lady Ibenta also called on the electorate in the area to vote for senator Umeh and other APGA candidates in the elections.
