Hertha Berlin vs Schalke

HERTHA Berlin host Schalke for their Matchday 19 clash on Friday evening looking to build on a 1-3 win at Nurnberg, where Vedad Ibisevic opened the scoresheet and Ornej Duda added two in the second half – securing a return to the winning ways after three Bundesliga outings.
Die Alte Dame have based their top 4 chase on fine performances at home ground and will now want to do the same despite a tough challenge looming, as Pal Dardai set up a tough for at Olympiastadion again and saw his men drop all three points just once this term (in the hands of RB Leipzig back in early November).
Schalke have, on the other hand, been very unpredictable this season and consequently sit in the bottom of the table midway through the campaign. However, they’ve been picking it up lately and will now be very motivated to capitalize in Berlin too.
Die Konigsblauen have finally connected two wins in a row as they beat Stuttgart (1-3) in late December and Wolfsburg (2-1) last week, but a trip to Hertha should prove more of a challenge. They’ve seen a three-match winning streak in head-to-head clashes ended by the rivals earlier this term, which could be even more worrying.
We will now back Hertha to connect a double over the rivals and we’ll go for a Home win or draw hoping to see them show off their character at home ground once again and turn an important contest their way here.
However, we feel it will be no easy task and we feel Schalke will be very motivated to build on the high of recent, as we also back a Yes on Both teams to score. We have seen goals on both ends in all of both sides’ respective last five outings, which does add to such a belief.
*Hertha have suffered just one loss (0-3 to RB Leipzig) at Olympiastadion this term
*Schalke struggle for consistency and still sit in the bottom of the table after 18 games played
*Die Alte Dame snatched a 0-2 win at VELTINS-Arena with a brace from Ornej Duda
Prediction: Both Teams to Score
