Osumenyi Deanery CMO honours members

CATHOLIC Men Organization (CMO), Osumenyi Deanery, recently honoured their distinguished members.
The occasion began with a mass at Holy Spirit Parish Osumenyi. In his homily, Very Rev Fr. Henry Ezeifedi reminded fathers of their roles as the pillars of their respective families and urged them to live exemplary lives that will enable their children be useful leaders of tomorrow. He charged them to love their wives as part of the home keeping.
The award ceremony was opened with prayers by the Holy Spirit Parish Priest, Very Rev Fr. Felix Ndubuisi.
The address of the day was written and read in fluent Igbo Language by the Osumenyi Deanery CMO President, Chief Emma Orjiako, who said that the award was designed to raise money for the deanery’s ecumenical and project matters and was aimed at stopping any form of levy in the churches within the deanery.
Chairman of the planning committee, Chief Chris Nnopu Oba, expressed joy that the recipients of the awards reciprocated in their respective capacities.
Those who received the award include Chief Francis Umeh- C.E.O. SEFCON, Sir Gregory Njiofor, Mrs Grace Umeh, Chief Anthony Ezejiburu  and other distinguished philanthropists in the deanery.
Sir Stephen Muojekwu expressed joy that the day was a success.
The occasion attracted all the parishes in the deanery, including those in Ezinifite, Utuh, Osumenyi, among others.
