Obiatuegwu thanks God for children’s academic success



FAMILY of former Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, Dr Ben Obiategwu, recently held a special thanksgiving ceremony over the success of two of their children who were conferred   fellows in their various medical fields.
Obiatuegwu disclosed that he has a daughter who is currently doing her PhD programme in Law, and another child who is a pharmacist, happily stated, “we are grateful to God for the heights that my children have reached and also for keeping my wife and I alive to witness all this in our life time”.
Dr Ben further advised youths to focus on education in other to be successful, charging them to shy away from crime and drug abuse, even as he lamented over the way internet fraud is becoming rampant.
According to him, “seek first the development of your brain and other things shall be added onto you.”.
Speaking at the thanksgiving service which took place at  Chapel Of Glory, Nnamdi Azikiwe University(UNIZIK),Awka, Chaplain of the church, Venerable Celestine Aniamaka, was happy for the family and prayed and blessed them in the altar.
He however, told the congregation that thanksgiving is very important as it is unfair to abandon or ignore God after granting an individual’s heart desires. He advised the congregation to always use the   energy used in worshipping God before an answered prayer to praise him after answered prayers.
