FORMER Anglican Church faithful and lay reader at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Nnewichi – Nnewi, Elder Johnson Epunamechi Ojukwu has died at the age of 104.

Until his demise, Elder Johnson Ojukwu lived a life that touched dearly those who were opportuned to tap from his humorous, peace loving life style.

He never got tired of preaching peace and brotherly love amongst people, especially in Nnewichi Nnewi .

The late Pa Ojukwu was husband to the late mother of a transport magnet, Chief Dr. Eugene Eke Ojukwu from Akaboezem Uruagu Nnewi .

Chief Dr. Eugene Ojukwu told our correspondent that  the late Elder Johnson Ojukwu was a special father to him.

He said that his good works, both in Nnewichi, Nnewi and all the places he sojourned to catch the golden fleece will remain indelible.

His son, John Ojukwu Jnr and others thanked God for keeping the elder more than a century before his final journey to yonder.

His remains will be laid to rest today at his country home with outing service on Sunday at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Abubor, Nnewichi Nnewi.
