WWE: Owens to return to action early next year

KEVIN Owens will be cleared to return to action early next year, but WWE may hold off on his return until WrestleMania.
Owens hasn’t been seen on Monday Night RAW since October, following his feud with Bobby Lashley. He took time off to have double knee surgery following years of punishment, and is currently recuperating following the successful operation.
Many have speculated on WWE’s plans for his return and when it may happen, but Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio updated us on his situation, stating:-
“Kevin Owens is due late February, early March but they may hold off until after WrestleMania.”
During his time away, KO has challenged Elton John to a WrestleMania match after the musician cancelled a recent concert the former Universal Champion was attending, but a return at the Grandest Stage Of Them All may well be on the cards due to the ever-changing nature of WWE’s biggest show of the year.
Regardless, whether it be prior to ‘Mania, at The Show of Shows, or on the RAW or SmackDown following, fans cannot wait to see Kevin Owens back in a WWE ring.
