Commission commends Obiano on workers welfare

CHAIR of the newly constituted Anambra State Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Collette Nwajiani, has commended Gov. Willie Obiano for having the interest of the state workers at heart and finding newly constituted Anambra State Civil Service Commission worthy to pilot the affairs of the commission.
Mrs. Nwajiani stated she led the members of the newly constituted commission members on a visit to the Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Harry Udu. She said the aim of their visit was to familiarise and interface with the HOS.
“The relationship between the Civil Service Commission and the Office of the Head of Service is symbiotic,” Nwajiani stressed.
She said that their visit to the HOS was also the first time since their inauguration on Aug. 28.
The chair, however, requested that cooperation that existed to the past commission, be extended to them to achieve maximum service delivery.
Mr. Udu said the speedy appointment of the new commission by Gov. Obiano was commendable as it made it possible for uninterrupted services to civil servants.
Udu noted that the relationship between the commission and the HOS was a symbiotic one, in the interest of the state workforce. He enjoined them to discharge their duties diligently for improved service delivery.
