Buhari congratulates Jonathan at 61



* Commends his new book

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined Nigerians in felicitating with his predecessor, the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who turns 61 today, November 20, 2018.

Dr. Jonathan’s 61st birthday is also marked by the release and international launch of his new book, ‘My Transition Hours’ which is marked by the attendance of present and past presidents of African countries, diplomats and the leaders of the mainstream of Nigeria politics.

Buhari cites the Bayelsa State-born Dr. Jonathan as an inspiration to every young Nigerian given that his life exemplify the vast possibilities in Nigeria which awaits anyone willing to learn, work hard and contribute his utmost in making the country great and congratulates the publishing of his memoir, ‘My Transition Hours.’

The president enjoined Nigerians with engaging stories to emulate his predecessor by preserving and sharing their experiences in writing for the benefit of posterity.

 President Buhari prayed for Dr. Jonathan’s long life and God’s blessings on his family.
