APGA to appease aggrieved members



THE National Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance­(APGA) Reconciliation Committee, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, has promised to refund monies extorted from aspirants of the party in the just concluded primaries.
Chukwueke, who is also the party Vice Presidential candidate disclosed after meeting with Anambra State Executive Committee has mapped out strategies to reconcile aggrieved members of the party during the last primaries.
He however, noted that the crises of nomination that hit the party in Anambra and Imo states in particular is the management of sudden success of the party, stressing that his committee was mandated to reconcile all aggrieved party members.
Observing that most members are worried on the sad development, said he believed there would be light at the end of the tunnel. He stated that the party will rise from the problem stronger and better equipped to face the challenges of 2019 general elections.
His words, “we have a party that quickly became very successful in terms of membership and aspirants and managing the success is work in progress.”
He stated that his committee will ensure that anywhere there is established cases of extortion of any level that vestitution will be applied.
He further warned that those who could be identified as having a hand in the mess up shall face the necessary sanctions.
The vice presidential candidate assured members that whatever transpired negatively during the primaries would be rectified, stressing that what transpired in Imo State had to do with gubernatorial primaries.
His words “those who think they can buy their way in representing the people should have rethink because the party will not accept them.”
He cautioned those who falsely received certificate of returns without being grounded in the party to be ready to surrender them.
