30,000 traders to benefit from FG Trader MONI in Anambra



FEDERAL Government of Nigeria is targeting about 30,000 beneficiaries from Anambra State for Enterprise and Empowerment Programme for small business, popularly known as Trader Moni.
Disclosing the federal government position on the number of beneficiaries being targeted in Anambra State, Mr. Adebowale Bakare, the project supervisor for Generating Demand Management Group, the enrollment activation and disbursement company handling the enterprise empowerment programme in conjunction with the Bank of Industry, (BOI) for the Federal Government, said no fewer than 30,000 people from Anambra state would benefit from loan disbursement.
This is coming as traders in Onitsha and other parts of the state appealed to the federal government to expedite action in ensuring that all the people who registered for its enterprise and empowerment programme for small businesses receive it on time and without much stress.
The project supervisor said that the enrollment of new beneficiaries’ data activation of next set of disbursement have matured. He stated that the programme has been on but people were not embracing it until now.
