35 Prison Inmates to sit for NECO exam in Jos

THIRTY five inmates of Jos Prison have been duly registered for the 2018 NECO external examination.
The inmates, 32 of whom are male and three females have been prepared to take subjects in Social Sciences and Commercials.
According to a press statement signed by Luka Ayedoo, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Command Public Relations Plateau State Command, registration of the inmates for the examination was facilitated with funding support from the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) as part of celebrations marking their 47th anniversary.
This examination is one of the numerous reform programs available to prepare inmates for smooth reintegration into the society, upon discharge.
The Service has deployed necessary resources to attract productive partnership towards providing quality education as well as vocational skill acquisition for inmates in custody.
