ANPC holds one-month training on Pension matters



ANAMBRA Newspapers and Printing Corporation (Publishers of National Light Newspapers, Ka Ọ Dị Taa  and Sports Extra) has commenced one month training for Staffers of National Light tagged “Pension Desk Workshop for Processing of Retirement Benefit of the Staff”.
The opening ceremony of the event, which took place at the ANPC on-line office, had the management staff, and staffers of the organisation, who thronged the event to witness and partake in the exercise.
The Managing Director and Chief- Executive Officer, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (Publisher of National Light Newspapers, Ka Ọ Dị Taa  and Sports Extra) Sir Chuka Nnabuife, commended the staff of the corporation, for being peaceful, law abiding and committed to the course of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and the state in general.
Nnabuife disclosed that the workshop was designed to enlighten selected staffers of the corporation on the procedures and processing of retirement benefits which will help the staff in building up their career. He enjoined them to take the workshop seriously, adding that they should see the program as an opportunity for self-development. He also thanked the facilitator of programme consultant, Comr, Jude Anadi for making out time to come regardless of his other engagements.
The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Fanny Oguine, in her remarks commended Sir Chuka Nnabuife for bringing out the way forward out of the milieu of challenges facing the organisation. She encouraged all participants to buckle up and be serious with the program so that it will groom them to be productive thereafter.
Jude Anadi, who is a pension consultant, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to Nnabuife for his transparent and exemplary leadership, most especially the love and care existing between him and the staff. He also appreciated all participants for their massive support and compliance.
In her remarks, the Head, Administration, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Mrs Ifeanyi Onwuta, commended Sir Chuka, for being a good leader all these years, adding that the workshop was the first training she has witnessed. She enjoined all participants to embrace the exercise positively.
Some of the trainees are Ngozi Nwokolo, Chuka Agupugo, Ndika Onyeka, Theresa Okekeze and Ekene Chukwudi, Uchenwa Mba among others.
