Ven Agba retires from Priesthood



Diocese of Nnewi Anglican Communion will on Saturday, send forth Venerable Dr. GoddyAgba, the administrative secretary of the diocese, who just retired from active services in the Lord’s vineyard after 46 years.
Ven. Agba, who spoke to our correspondent in Nnewi on his retirement described his life in the service of the church as a journey fulfilled, stating that retirement in church work or ministration gives joy as it will enable him reflect on his 46 years of ministration in God’s ministry.
The retiring Archdeacon, who disclosed that he would fully go into agric which he has been doing on a small scale, commended Arch Bishop Godwin Okpala, whom according to him; fathered him like the biblical Samuel; his fellow clergy men and his parishioners for their support throughout his ministry, even as he appealed to all he has offended in one way or the other to forgive him.
Born on September 13, 1951, into the family of Albert and Agues OforAgba in Orumba South LGA, Ven. Agba attended a lot of workshops both within and outside Nigeria and was a member of about 85
