Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano is a man of honor who not only believes in developing the state infrastructurally, but also wears the garment of courage to sustain the good looks of those projects so put in place in order to avoid deficiency in the needs of his people. This prompted him to checkmate potholes, flood menace and death traps on Anambra roads through Anambra Road Maintenance Agency (ARMA).
According to Martins Nwogbo, ARMA activities started in the year 2015. The Engineer informed National Light that his job is basically to supervise, monitor and ensure that the work being done tallies with engineering specifications. Nwogbo was spotted with ARMA team of youths at Zik’s Avenue by state Police Headquarters, Amawbia, putting the potholes and damaged portions of the roads in order. He informed that there are about 50 young people employed for this purpose just in Anambra Central lauded the governor for giving the youths opportunities to serve the state and as well, be employed.
