Aubameyang attends WWE live event in London
IT WAS an eventful day for Aubameyang, who took on a different role in training before heading off for some entertainment. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang enjoyed his downtime after Arsenal training by attending a WWE Live event in London.
Some of the world’s top wrestlers are making a brief visit to the United Kingdom for a show at the O2 Arena.
WWE superstars Bayley and Sasha Banks visited Arsenal’s training ground earlier on Wednesday – and Aubameyang returned the favour by heading to their live show in the evening.
Aubameyang was invited to pose on the canvas of the ring by WWE.
He later walked down the ramp with a personalised red WWE Championship belt, before posing for more pictures.
The Gabon international made the trip to the O2 Arena after Arsenal training on Wednesday, where he joked about being given a new role.
Following the session, he took to Twitter , addressing his goal drought at the start of this season.
“3 games without scoring!! they found me a new job,” he wrote, accompanied with some laughing emojis.
The tweet featured video footage from the session where Aubameyang was acting as a goalkeeper – and appeared to be surprisingly good at it.
He made a host of saves, both with his hands and feet, before he was caught out with an effort which found the back of the net off the underside of the crossbar.
