MEMBER representing Nnewi South one Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Kingsley Iruba has urged the members of the newly reconstituted Civil Service Commission to justify their appointments by ensuring the recruitment of the more staff in civil service.
Mr Iruba who made the call in Awka, expressed discomfort at the gap existing between the high ranking civil servants on the verge of retirement and their younger counterparts which can be birdged by employing new hands elevating the younger staff down the ladder to fill up the vacuum upon the retirement of the high ranking staff.
The lawmaker expects them to be above board in handing critical issues related to the welfare of civil servants.
Iruba felicitated with Governor Willie Obiano on 63rd birthday celebration and wished him well as he ably pilots the affairs of the state .
He expects the governor to sustain his track record of excellence in good governance.
On road rehabilitation , the lawmakers acknowledged the efforts made in the rehabilitation of the Oba- Nnewi- Azigbo-Uga Road, leading to Imo State, but asked the federal government to ensure the full completion of the road to give the people of the affected areas a sense of belonging.
In a relation development the dean faculty of Environmental, Science, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Campus Professor Valeria Chinedu Nnodu has a Felicitated with Governor Obiano on his 63rd birthday, wishing him the best as he governor the state.
