Nodus International School, Nnewi marks graduation

QUALITATIVE education has been described as a lasting laurel.
The Principal incharge, Nodus International Secondary School, Okpunegbu-Umudim-Nnewi, Mr. Collins Ebuka Momah, made the remark during a graduation ceremony that involved final year students of the institution Mr. Momah urged the graduating students be good ambassadors of their alma mater.
He charged them also to see their passing out as going to the world and society that pose challenges but hoped that with the moral and qualitative education their team of lectures included in them, they will embrace their live’s goals.
Mr. Momah used the opportunity to advise parents and guardians to discourage their children from going to so called special centers to sit for their WAEC Exams which according to him, boomerang when such students use their results to gain admission after taking JAMB to Universities.
He said that Nodus International Secondary School occasionally invited the clergy to counsel their students on the need to study hard and pass their exams, hence the have, since year 2002 the institution sprouted been excelling in WAEC exams each year.
He used the opportunity to advise parents and guardians to encourage their children to jump into business and trade apprenticeships after obtaining basic secondary education.
The Educationist commended the good governance of Chief Willie Obiano, who has ensured sound administrative running of schools and called for availability of school buses to some private secondary schools.
He beckoned on parents and guardians not to be used as thugs during elections as we approach 2019 general election.
