Igwe urged the muslims to have full confidence on their adoption of the governor as any other candidate would only chastise, disrupt their businesses and their peaceful stay in the state.
“The manner you have conducted yourself gives us the confidence that the election period which is usually characterised with violence, would be peaceful and tension-free in Ebonyi.

“The only way to concretise this adoption is to conduct a house-to house campaign on your members to procure their permanent voters cards, to vote for the governor.

He said that the period is coming when any person of voting age would
not transact business in Ebonyi if he or she does not possess a voters
card.
