CHRISTIANS have been enjoined to live decent life legacies that will vindicate them at death.

Preaching at the burial ceremony of Late Chief Sunnyside Chikadia Okafor (Chikeluba) in his compound in Orjiezeka-Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area, Bishop Ikeakor likened the life legacies of the late Okafor to the Biblical Zacheas that showed his anxiety to see Jesus Christ on His way to Jericho by climbing a cycamore tree.

He said that Chief Sunnyside Okafor was a practical Christian that was involved in many ecumenical and evangelical outreaches both in his home church, Christ church Amichi and Anglican Diocese of Amichi.

The son of the deceased, Chuka Sunnyside described his late father as his teacher and counselor, adding that the attributes he instilled in him will ever lubricate him to continue where his father stopped.

Wife of the deceased, Mrs Josephine Okafor said that she had lost a dear and caring husband but took solace that God’s decision is the final. The service at his compound in Amichi was a roll call of who is who.

The late Sunnyside was the chairman of Anambra State Gaming Commission during Governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju era and remained Revenue Collector on Games in Governor Obiano’s Administration. He was a sports promoter and activist in proffering peace in Amichi.
His brother, Sir Emma Okafor who was former President General, Amichi Development Union regretted that he is now by the death of Chikeluba left as the only surviving male of the family.
