Anaocha monarchs pledge support for APGA, honours Obiano with Odoziobodo chieftaincy title

ALL the traditional rulers from the ten communities that make up Anaocha Local Government Area have pledged their unalloyed support to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), crowned Governor Obiano with Odoziobodo Anaocha chieftaincy title.

 


The monarchs expressed their appreciation for the APGA led administration recently during the Anaocha Day held at their council headquarters, Neni, urging Anaocha people to remain APGA faithfuls.

Speaking unbehalf of the ten communities, the Anaocha Traditional Rulers Council head, HRM, Igwe Innocent Elochukwu Obodoako, said that both the past and present APGA led administrations had benefitted their people and entire ndi Anambra.
Igwe Obodoako warned the indigenes of Anaocha to beware of selfish politicians who want to get into elective positions by all means, promising to carryout white elephant projects during campaigns.

“Ndi Anaocha, tomorrow, some persons will start moving around during campaigns. Don’t listen to them. Akpokuedike is available. Let’s be patient with our governor, his benevolence and investments will reach every place. We are happy with how he worked last tenure and hope he would do more in this second term. All the communities in Anaocha are behind Akpokuedike and are in full support of APGA”, he said

The Deputy Governor, Nkem Okeke who represented the governor, thanked all the people of Anaocha for the recognition given to Governor Obiano, saying that although the governor was not present, but charged him to endeavor to grace the occasion on his behalf because of the regard he has for ndi Anaocha.

“I thank you all, ndi Igwe, ndi Anaocha and everybody here present for recognizing our working governor who is unavoidably absent. I want to promise Anaocha people unbehalf of his Excellency ‘Odoziobodo Anaocha’ that in this second tenure you will see more achievements and investments, job opportunities among others. Let us continue to pray for our governor”, Okeke said.
