Obiano appoints two new judges

GOVERNOR Willie Obiano has sworn in two new judges to the Bench of the Anambra State High Court of Justice.
The event took place at Government House, Awka, yesterday.
Gov. Obiano charged them to discharge their duties without fear or favour but especially be committed to accelerating judicial process.
He assured them that his administration will spare nothing in providing necessary facilities that will assist judges of the High Court in dispensing justice, pointing out that his government would soon make them ‘digital’ judges and bring an end to analogue proceedings in the courts.
The appointment of the two news judges brings the number to a total of 10 judges that were appointed in Gov Obiano’s administration in its commitment to speedy and efficient dispensation of justice in the state.
The two newly appointed judges are Justice Samuel Nri-Ezedi and Justice Onuorah Nwabunike, who until their appointments were private legal practitioners based in the state.
Responding, Justice Samuel Nri Ezedi expressed his appreciation to the governor for making it possible for them to be appointed, pledging to devote and dedicate all their time to their duty in keeping with the oath of office they have sworn to.
