SECRETARY to the Anambra State Government, Solomon Chukwulobelu has led a state government delegation to the funeral of Chief Patrick Ezenduka at his Adazi Enu country home.

Professor Chukwulobelu, while consoling the family of Chief Ezenduka, a former member in the Local Government Service Commission, advised them to bear the loss with fortitude as the deceased lived a fulfilled life as a onetime legislator in the old Anambra State and a former Chairman of Anaocha LGA.

In a condolence speech, a former chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Sir Godfrey Muotolu consoled the deceased family and eulogized Chief Ezenduka as a conflict resolution expert during his service as a  commissioner in the local government service commission.

In a funeral oration, the National President of the St John’s College Alor. Dr Cyprian Afunugo spoke of the sterling qualities of Chief Ezenduka as an old boy of the college, who left his footprints on the sands of time as a founding father of APGA in Anaocha Local Government Area, among other accomplishments.

Also leading a delegation of United Adazi Association comprising Adazi-Enu, Adazi-Ani and Adazi-Nnukwu communities, the chairman of the Association, Cyril Anetoh was accompanied by the traditional ruler of Adazi-Enu, Igwe Alphonsus Okpalaechelu (Igwe Obi Okotu II Adazi-Enu), Chief Jerome Okoye, Chief Akunwata Okeke, the Presidents-General from the three communities and other stakeholders to console the family of the deceased.

Chief Anetoh extolled the contributions of Chief Ezenduka in building the All Progressive Grand Alliance in Anaocha council area towards the development of the state.

Others who paid their condolences to the family of the dseceased include the transition committee chairman for Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Ikeobi Ejiofor, an APGA stalwart from Umuchu, Chief Sylvester Ezeokenwa, the member representing Anaocha II Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Chief Charles Ezeani, and a one-time Chairman of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Chief Basil Ejidike.
